I've been writing software professionally for over 30 years, most of it self-taught. Before software, I spent a decade as a chef — a background that shows up more than you'd expect in how I approach a messy production system: stay calm, work the actual problem in front of you, and don't walk away until it's actually fixed.

16 of those years were at Cisco Systems, working on VoIP and Cloud PBX platforms — production telephony infrastructure where downtime means someone's phone system is actually down. More recently, I led engineering for a 150-location car wash chain's internal platform, and I've spent the last several years building hands-on with LLM agent systems, well before "AI integration" became a line item on every agency's homepage.

enolive — yes, that's "evil one" spelled backwards — is the name I picked when I set out to do this work independently. Everything else about the brand is meant to be exactly as straightforward as the software I build: no gimmicks, just work that holds up.
